There is less than a week till Christmas and while most people might still be busy making sure they have their gifts for everyone I, however, am not. I have to wrap some presents still but thankfully we do not need to stress over getting every last person as we have most of shopping done..
I made two, very cute wine cozies and was so surprised with how quickly they came together!
Here is the super cute Santa Claus wine cozy and a cute snowman wine cozy.
This cute snowman pattern can be found here. I changed the original color of the hat, which was red, to black.
This cute Santa Claus cozy is from the same lady and can be found here. I added the cute little pom-pom to the top of it. If you would like to add that also, it’s super easy.
On the last row, follow the pattern till you get to stitch 21 and ch 9. Sl st in first ch from hook, sc next 2 ch, hdc next 2 ch, dc next 2 ch, and treble or triple crochet the last two ch. You should have 9 stitches total and join with a sl st then continue your final round of the cozy.
To make the pom-pom, grab a regular dinner fork and your white yarn and wrap the yarn around the fork about 50 times. Leave space at the bottom of the fork as you will need the space to tie off the yarn.
Cut the yarn and then cut apiece of yarn about the size of the fork and tie it, tight, through the middle space of the fork.
Gently slide the yarn off the fork and slide your scissors through the loops and cut the loops.
Cut the stray pieces so they’re all about the same length and then you’re done!
Attach your pom-pom to the end of the piece you just made and there you have it! Such a cute and easy way to add a little something extra to any project you may be working on.
I also made myself some finger-less gloves and a bun beanie.
What are your plans for the holiday season? What projects have you made that you plan to give to someone as a gift? I would love to hear from you!! Don’t forget to subscribe to receive updates from me. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!
